3 Nights, 4 Days Lower Zambezi National park experience

Day 1

07:30 HRS –The guide will meet the clients from their respective pickup points. It’s a six to seven hours drive from Livingstone. En-route you shall be provided with packed light lunch and refreshments at any convenient time.

Upon arrival at Kiambi Lodge you’ll be checked in and briefed and if time allows, the clients will take a short rest in their cottages.

SUNSET BOAT CRUISE

The Boat departs mid afternoon and eventually the trips accords you the opportunity to view sun; in a big red glow as it sets on the African horizon leaving behind a trial of reflection on the river and silhouettes of the African jungle as it awakens to a variety of evening animals, birds and insects sounds.  

After the cruise, the clients will be allowed to go to their rooms to freshen up in readiness for dinner on the banks of the Zambezi River.

Day 2

FULL DAY GAME CRUISE ON THE BOAT

The lower Zambezi is a valley which on one end runs along the might Zambezi River. Naturally high temperatures are part of life. The river basins and the banks are an automatic attraction to both humans and animal for a cooler environment to mitigate the heat, hence a cruise along the river gives you the obvious opportunity to view a concentrated wide variety of animals i.e. Elephants, Antelopes, Wildebeests, Zebras, Hippos, Buffaloes, Etc.

 As the boat slowly and majestically sails along the river it bring you to some of the most overwhelming encounters both on the river banks and on the river as for instance when the Elephants take their so often migration from one land mass to another: from Zimbabwe to Zambia and vice versa.

The boat takes several stops on the river as you continue having fan viewing animals both on land and on the river. Lunch and refreshments are provided on the en-route on the banks of the Zambezi River.

 

Day 3

DEPARTURE- 08:00hrs - HALF DAY FISHING – In regard to fishing though the river boasts host of many species; the Zambezi River is famous for tiger fish and bream fishing.  You are guaranteed to catch as many fish as you can. It’s never one of those in vain activity fishing trips. Arrive back at the lodge at noon just in time for lunch.                                 

In the afternoon, the clients will be taken for the guided village tour to enable the clients see how the local people live and interact with them. The clients will have the time to visit the cultural village and local schools. Drinks and refreshments will be provided. After the end the tour, clients will be transferred back to the lodge to freshen up in readiness for the last dinner at the lodge.

Day 4

After breakfast, clients will check out in readiness for the trip back to Livingstone.

Lunch and refreshments will be served at any convenient time.
